Selecting a web template
MPNews is supplied with two web templates that control how the web interface to your
newsgroups is displayed:
- Default. This displays your newsgroups in a standard web forum style.
- Newsreader. This displays your newsgroups in a web version of a standard
newsreader display.
You can choose which of these templates to use by logging into the virtual server admin site,
clicking on the "Web Browser Access" option then the "Template" option. Under "Apply template",
select the name of the template you want to use and click the "Apply" button.
Configuring a web template
Each web template has a number of advanced options to alter how it looks. To access these
advanced options, go to the web interface itself and log in as an administrator user. You
will then see an "Admin" link at the top, which will take you to a page containing the advanced
options specific to the current web template.
