Most of the settings available in the MPNews administration sites are displayed in lists. These
lists are much more powerful than those commonly provided on web sites, and allow you to work
in a way similar to using any standard Windows software.
Editing items
To edit any item in a list, just double-click on the value you want to edit and type in a new
value. As soon as you leave the editable area, the new value will be applied, with no need
to click a Save button.
Many types of settings also have more advanced options that are not displayed in the list itself.
In order to edit these settings, there will normally be an Edit link on the right hand side of
the list that you can click to view and edit the additional information.
Deleting items
To delete any row from a list, just select the row(s) to delete and press the Delete key on your
keyboard. To select a row to delete, just click on it once with your mouse. To select multiple
rows, either hold down Ctrl while clicking on the additional rows, or select one row and hold
down Shift while selecting another to select all the rows in between as well.
If you press the Delete key by accident, don't panic! You are always prompted to confirm that
you really want to delete the settings before they're gone.
